We are here enclose the letter of Service Tax refund. In the letter
we are also enclose the nine service on that the refund is allow. The
letter is as follows:-

Sub.: Refund of Service Tax paid on specified services
Respected Sir,
We are registered assessee working under your jurisdiction. We are
also exporting our products. We are thus filing the claim of refund
of Service Tax paid on specified services for the quarter ending on
__________ in terms of provisions of Notification No. 41/2007-S.T.
dated 6-10-2007. We are fulfilling all the conditions prescribed in
this Notification and listed as follows:-
1) We have received these services and used them in relation to
export.
2) We have actually paid the Service Tax on these services.
3) We have not taken the Cenvat Credit of the Service Tax paid
on these services in terms of Cenvat Credit Rules, 2004.
4) We have not availed drawback of Service Tax paid on these
services under Customs, Central Excise Duties and Service Tax
Drawback Rules, 1995;
5) We have not claimed any exemption or refund of Service Tax
paid on these services except under this notification.
6) We are filing this refund claim within 60 days of end of
relevant quarter during which the goods have been exported.
We are enclosing herewith the following documents for your ready
reference:-
• Copy of shipping bill, bill of lading and ARE-1 for the
evidence of export;
• Invoices of the service provider on which claim has been
filed by us;
• Written agreements with foreign buyer to show that the
testing as well cleaning services has been availed at his request.
• The statement showing the link between shipping bills and the
services taken.
We undertake to give the bank realization certificate of these
exports to your good honour as and when the same is realized by us as
per condition of the impugned notification.
We hope the above is in order. Refund should be granted to us at the
earliest possible time.
